Om de 75^ste verjaardag van uitgeverij Penguin te vieren selecteerde art director Paul Buckley de 75 beste Penguincovers van het voorbije decennium. Daaronder ook het Amerikaanse omslag van The Angel Maker, waarover Stefan Brijs zelf schrijft: “For the first time, the content, theme and mood of my novel were summarised in one single image, as I myself had also done in one sentence, somewhere in the middle of the final chapter: ‘If you draw a line, see, from here, the doctor's house, where the walnut tree used to stand, to the three borders, you can see how all the disasters seem to branch out from that spot, just like the roots of a tree.’” Het boek met alle geselecteerde covers en commentaar van de auteurs verschijnt in juli 2010.
